Working Principle

Aluminum is melted (approximately 660°C or higher). The molten metal is injected into a steel mold using a high-pressure injection machine. The metal cools and solidifies very quickly inside the mold.

Methods Used

Hot Chamber

Mostly used for zinc and metals with low melting temperatures. Generally not suitable for aluminum.

Cold Chamber

The most commonly used system for aluminum die casting. The metal is melted in a separate furnace, then poured into the machine and injected into the mold.
